The big news this week is Aidan is getting her first tooth. I was reading to her on Tuesday night before bed and I felt her gums and sure enough there was something sharp. She has been really good and it only seems to bother her at night before bed (and on Wednesday night when she would only sleep when I was rocking her). I was so excited I wanted to try and get a picture of the new white cap but you know her and her tongue. No way no how was she letting me get that picture.

8 Months and counting

Well if you can believe it Aidan will turn 8 months old this week. We can hardly beleive it. The time is flying by. We try to soak up every single second we have with her and enjoy all the new things she does everyday. Many of you know that she has been saying "DaDa" for a little while now well today she finally said "MaMa" I was so excited I started to cry of course. I know she doesn't know the association yet but it still tickles my heart:) She doesn't seem to have any desire to crawl and still no teeth so we are still awaiting those milestones. We are so blessed and thankful for her. Being parents is definetly the best part of life :)

She got her ears pierced. She hardly cried and they haven't even seemed to bother her. She looks so cute.

Aidan and I headed to Davenport to see my friend Katie while Nick was in Colorado skiing. We had a great time and Aidan enjoyed spending time with Katie.

"Aunt Katie why don't you have cable so I can watch Spongebob?"

Aidan Loves her baths and got a lot of bath toys for Christmas so bath time has started to take a little longer so she can have fun playing with her toys.

Aidan loves her Talking Elmo although sometimes I think she is a bit confused when he starts to talk all by himself (I'll admit it kinda creeps me out also when we are sitting there and he starts telling a a joke from inside the toy box)

Another one of Aidan's favorite toys is her new "My First Purse" She has even figured out how to use the lipstick (Nick is in big trouble)

Although Aidan still doesn't have any teeth (we are hoping any day now) she really likes to chew (or should I say gum on) her Mum Mums

Hello 2009

Aidan, Drew, and Grace started off the party by exchanging presents. Aidan got some great bath toys, a really cute shirt, and a dolly.

We decided to try and get the kids to get together for a picture. This usually doesn't go so well but I guess they all decided to cooperate. We got some great pictures.
